WOW

wow!
i dont know if im allowed to start off my letter with wow, but im doing it. its just a wow kind of week. Im so excited about everything going on around me, its just so... wow!
first off, happy anniversary to mom and dad! 30 years is a looooong time, so congrats on that!
now to the work in brooklyn, ny!
so some things have slowed down: Johan, and other Russians, but there is some awesome news, and his name is Greg! Greg is a native brooklyner, and has been to church a couple times now, and wants to get baptized. He has quit smoking, and believes the book of mormon is the word of God. He is reading it as fast as he can, because he is loving it so much. We are meeting with him on wednesday with one of the young men in the ward, and we will set a baptismal date for him, and so he will probably be ready by junish! soooo awesome!
we also are working with alex who was at church again, and loves the spirit he feels, and wants to learn more. We got to go work with a less active named miguel who hasnt been to church in a long long time. His son, miguel jr. wants to be baptized, and he wants to get worthy to baptize him, so things here are pretty amazing!
On a sadder note, this is elder howells last week in bensonhurst which stinks, but he is excited to see a new part of the mission.
i feel like im using alot of '!'s but its just because im way excited to be a missionary.
now for the weekly Q's and A's

Questions for Elder Thiot
1. How are you Elder Thiot? pretty flippin awesome
2. How was your museum adventure last Tuesday? Which one did you go to? its was pretty fun, we went to the museum of transportation or something like that, but it was a pretty good time.
3. How was your week? awesome. couldnt have been to much better.
4. What MIRACLE did you see this week? I saw a miracle when I saw the look in Greg's eyes when he told me he wants to become a member of the church!
5. How are your investigators doing? Is there anything we can do to help? some are doing really well, some are not as great, but pray for them all.
6. Is the ASL Elder living with you, Elder Grow? There is a mom on the Missionary Mom list with a son in your mission. Just thought I would ask. That is the same elder Grow. He is a cool kid, and an awesome missionary.
7. Pierce and Stacy brought down some of your shirts to send to you, is there anything else you need too? i just realized i could use some more stamps, im writing alot of letters right now, and that would be sweet.
8. BONUS What also is happened sweet in Texas this week? I heard something about the mavericks BEATING the spurs! go mavs
I love all of you, and thanks for the letters, emails, and prayers. and keep them coming! i hope all of you are doing well, and take comfort in the fact that God knows you, and he is willing to bless you, all we have to do is what he asks of us, and the windows of heaven will be opened unto us. The windows of heaven over Brooklyn, NY are open, and blessings are pooring down, and I know that our Heavenly Father will always bless us more.
